Post-Acute Rehabilitation
We specialize in providing the highest level of post-acute care possible. The term “post-acute” communicates that a patient was previously at an acute care facility such as a hospital or surgery center. Post-acute rehabilitation becomes necessary when a patient leaving an acute care facility needs specialized treatment before returning home.
At Macon RHC, we offer a separate distinct care unit for short-term placement. This provides an encouraging environment for our post-acute residents to interact primarily with other residents who are also working through the rehabilitation process.
